The Defender® Bird Spike Installer of the Month is a fabulous competition we run on social media to celebrate our hard-working trade customers. All an installer of bird spikes has to do is post pictures of their bird-proofing installations using our Defender® Bird Spikes on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. By simply tagging us in, @defenderbirdspikes or hashtag us, they have automatic entry to that month's competition and can enter as many times as they like. We will share the installations on our Defender® Bird Spike social pages several times that month, tagging them and highlighting their hard work and expertise using our Defender® products. This competition is open to any bird spike installer who uses our Defender® Bird Spike products whether bought directly from us, the manufacturers or from one of our distributors.
How is a bird spike winning installation chosen?
The winner is chosen by our team of experts at the end of the month. This is often an incredibly hard job as the calibre is always high and no two installs are alike. The lucky winner will receive a highly desirable pigeon trophy and certificate from us. We will post a winners write-up about them, their company and the winning installation. This will be posted on all the different social media platforms including industry groups. The winners will often repost this onto their own pages and groups.
The celebration doesn’t stop there! The winner will also be featured on our Installer of the Month blog page. We ask the winner a series of questions about themselves, for example, how long they have been in the industry, details about the job they posted and any funny stories or anecdotes. We write this up into a dedicated blog page published on our website. This page has become an invaluable resource for our domestic and commercial customers looking for a bird control installer they can trust.
